CHROME RIMS FOR CAR ENTHUSIASTS.
Chrome rims are, too many car enthusiasts, the only genuine custom rims as they are also one of the earliest that took the aftermarket like a storm. They love the shine and the light reflection that chrome wheels make. The timeless appeal delivers a luxurious feeling, which is what many chrome rims should do.
Our huge collection of custom wheels on this site will display avatars that are not chrome wheels. Still, each and every model can be ordered in a highly polished finish. We do not chrome plate our custom rims because the nice appearance only lasts for a short time, and it is impossible to repair bad spots. We machine polish the rims to the point of what we call mirror shine. All chrome rims can also have a bit less shine, depending on what you want.
The beauty of chrome rims is that they look fantastic on luxury cars and 4x4 trucks or classic cars, for example. The contrast seems so appealing in combination with a clean and freshly polished tire. To protect your chrome rims even more, we are coating the surface with a gloss or matt clear coat and giving your custom rims that extra protection to have peace of mind.
There is a reason why for example, Mercedes-Maybach is using chrome rims on their cars as standard but also as aftermarket custom rims. It makes a statement that every one of us is looking for. You want that your car tells a short story about who you are and what type of Man you are. It is not about bragging about your lifestyle but making clear what people should think of you when you pass by.
ARE CHROME RIMS CONCAVE?
Chrome rims can be concave like any other custom rims on the market. The concavity of custom chrome wheels depends on the distance between the center hub and out fender, the size of the brakes and calipers, and on the offsets of the wheel. All these metrics determine if a custom rim will be more concave or less.
A perfect example is sportscars. Let's take a Ferrari F8 to picture the situation better. Like many other manufacturers, Ferrari decided to make the front rims smaller in width to keep the weight low on the front axle. This is because you are steering with the front wheels and want to have as much precision as possible. Like on the most powerful cars, the front brakes are distinctively bigger than on the rear, so a bigger brake disc and bigger brake calipers need more space, making it nearly impossible to design a front wheel concave without touching those parts.
For example, the brakes are always smaller on the rear axle than the front, so you will not have any issue with the concavity of your chrome wheels. Besides the brakes, the rear wheels tend to be larger in width on most cars, and this is another factor that helps create a deep concave profile for your custom wheels.
CHROME RIMS OR PVD CHROME WHEELS?
We do not offer conventional chrome rims because they will look like crap after just a few weeks. You get from us only the best finishes, which are PVD chrome wheels. Physical vapor deposition (PVD), sometimes called physical vapor transport (PVT), describes various vacuum deposition methods that can produce thin films and coatings on substrates, including metals, ceramics, glass, and polymers.
LOMA Chrome Wheels delivers only the best possible custom rim finishes, so you have durable custom rims on your car and enjoy them for a long time.
ARE CHROME RIMS 3-PIECE OR 1-PIECE MONOBLOCK WHEELS DESIGNED?
You can have both of them. We suggest that for luxurious vehicles like the Mercedes Mayback or Rolls Royce Cullinan, to order a 1-Piece monoblock chrome rims, and for more sportive cars, the 3-piece version. Again, it all depends on the optical end result you want to achieve. 3-Piece wheels will always look far more aggressive than monoblock wheels, while the 1-Piece version spreads the look of sportive elegance.
However, we also offer 3-Piece wheels as chrome rims without visible rivets (bolts) on the outer side. We can hide them on the inner side, so they look more civil on the car.
