C6 Z06 Corvette Wide Body Kit compared to a base C6 Z06. The C6 Z06 Corvette Wide Body Kit looks like the big brother of the regular Z06. In fact, even worse than a C6 compared to a Z06. A must for every Corvette fan is the LOMA GT2 WIDEBODY BODYKIT which is available for all Corvettes from 2005 to 2013. So what is the most known bodykit on the planet all about? The idea, according to LOMA CEO Mario Radosavljevic, to create a bodykit that first can be installed by everyone in its home garage without any grinding or more significant adjustments and secondly, that will also be installed with the stock hardware, which means you get the GT2 bodykit without any screws or bolts because you going to use the one established by the factory! That is huge as it shows right away what perfect fitment is all about. The third point was to transfer a pure racing kit into a streetcar which is usually impossible. But LOMA did it again. They did this with a Porsche 997 before and did it here with the Corvette C6.
A INTELLIGENT DESIGN MAKES THIS CORVETTE BODYKIT SUPER-UNIQUE!
An intelligent design? What does LOMA mean by that? A perfect way to explain this is the rear panel. On the left, you see the Yellow/Black Z06 that has a much larger mud flap than the Corvette Z06 on the right. While the right Corvette is equipped with a plastic part that works as mud protection, the LOMA GT2 rear panel does not have any plastic. It is designed more extensively and is one piece with the panel. Only separated by the paint, it looks like it is a single part. Why they did it this way? The answer is genius and simple: First, you will not have a gap between the plastic part and the panel, and secondly, we don't like plastic at all, and we had to make a choice between producing a more significant plastic part or using the stock plastic mud flap. We didn't want any of both, so we decided to integrate this into the rear panel — a very unusual way to go but very useful.

Another intelligent part of this kit was to use carbon fiber on all parts' inner sides. Wait a minute, on the inner side?? What's that for?
CEO Mario Radosavljevic said, we have made the surface from Prepreg fiberglass. You face a massive problem with fiberglass, no matter how good the fiberglass quality is. When the car stands in Summer in the sun, the surface temperature is getting so high that you start getting a resin chemical reaction. With more than 72 degrees Celsius, the resin begins to react and moves. Then you get all over the place bubbles and parts that start waving and moving, which causes enormous gaps, and it looks like nothing really fits. To avoid this, we have created with a partner company an utterly new resin that withstands even sunlight in Dubai for days. We have placed on the inner side of each part pure carbon fiber as there is no way that carbon will move ever once it's dry. The parts are now Superlight and low cost for the paint job due to the fiberglass surface.
WINNING AGAINST OTHER CORVETTES WITH A 17 SECONDS LEAD!
There is no doubt that a huge milestone was the win in Sebring with Breathless Performance. Many other Corvette Z06's were competing, but the LOMA Corvette destroyed them due to the much wider stance and, therefore, Superfast cornering and braking. A 17 seconds gap to the second car finishing the race, which also was a Corvette Z06, showed clearly how fast the car was. All cars had the same engine power, and Ernie Francies told us that we could go much quicker after the race. Still, we had problems with the tire pressure as we did not have enough data on the perfect pressure. The extreme corner speed was causing hot tires and significant change in the tire pressure. Our phone did not stand still as now everyone wants this advantage after this statement.
This was creating such a wave that even the Superstars and multiple LeMans winners from Corvette Racing were coming to see the hype around the LOMA GT2 Corvette Bodykit.
