ARE CUSTOM FORGED ALLOY WHEELS IN 24-INCHES TO BIG FOR THE MERCEDES G63 AMG?

Nowadays are, 24-Inch custom forged alloy wheels more or less common depending on where you live. But let's say you live in the United States of America or the United Arab Emirates. If so, these sizes are a must-have to look fresh and crisp. At Car Guru we are looking only into those.

In this video, you can see how beautiful the LOMA MONTE CARLO STAR looks with its diamond cut finish and how the design complements the rest of the car's design language. It seems like it had to be this way and does not look like it doesn't belong there.

Critics will say they are much too big and the ride comfort will be significantly compromised, but that's a myth. Suspensions and tires are so advanced these days that you feel barely any difference. Bumpy roads will still be bumpy also on 21-Inch rims.

WHAT IS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 22-INCH AND 24-INCH CUSTOM FORGED ALLOY WHEELS?

The usual size for the Mercedes G63 AMG W463 and W463A is 22x10,5 all around and 295/40R22 tires. Most customers don't like that the tires still have this "balloon" effect because, Yes, the alloy wheels are bigger now, but the tire does not support optical performance as the tire wall is still 40.

In 24-Inch size, you will have the possibility to drive 24x10,0 and 295/30R24 on all 4 rims. That makes a huge difference optically. The ride comfort changes by 2%.

For those that want to have a Brabus widebody, for example, as seen so often in Dubai, they can even drive 24x10,0 with 295/30R24 on the front and 24x12,0 with 355/25R24 on the rear, which is beyond massive. This is a Lamborghini Aventador width on a G-Class.
